Summary


Eighteen months of satellite-parking planning, traffic-pattern rearranging and visits by Secret Service agents have paid off for the National D-Day Memorial Foundation in Bedford. President Bush will deliver the keynote speech at the memorial's dedication ceremony Wednesday.

At a White House briefing Thursday, press secretary Ari Fleischer said Bush's address will emphasize the country's strong ties with its European allies. The speech will precede Bush's visit to Madrid, Spain, on June 11 as part of a trip to Europe, Fleischer said.
