Summary
Money has a tendency to corrupt politics. Here in Virginia, we try to mitigate that with sunshine. Candidates for office must disclose their campaign finances for all to see. Citizens can know who might be inluencing public officials and adjust their votes, or at least their expectations, accordingly.
