RADFORD -- Maryah Sydnor had 25 points and 15 rebounds, as Radford's girls basketball team caught its second wind in overtime and held of Carroll County for a 54-49 victory on Wednesday.

The Bobcats let much of the game, but Carroll County, which was led by Kayla Goins' 17 points, rallied in the fourth quarter to tie the score, and had a chance to take the lead in the final seconds. But Radford's defense held.

In overtime, the Bobcats made 6-of-12 free throws, while the Cavaliers hit just 1-of-4 attempts.

Pip Pattison had 10 points for Radford. Kaitlan Viars had 13 for Carroll County.
