A majority of the Roanoke City Council signaled its support Monday for going forward with the controversial condemnation of a 3- acre tract on Reserve Avenue.
The council voted 4-2 to continue the redevelopment project that has cleared the way for a number of Carilion buildings and a new medical school, including taking land owned by Jay and Stephanie Burkholder as permitted by a November court ruling.See the full content of this document
