Cecil Shorts III has caught 17 touchdown passes for Mount Union this season. But he might not be lining up at receiver at Salem Stadium on Saturday.

With their starting quarterback injured and second-string QB struggling, the Purple Raiders turned to Shorts late in the third quarter of a Division III semifinal against Wesley last weekend. The All-American receiver switched to QB with his team up just 10- 7, and rushed for 98 yards and two TDs to enable Mount Union to pull away for a 24-7 victory.
