Summary

Although the feast of Roanoke Valley Chinese takeout wasn't quite the "Dumpling Feast" that 17 Roanoke College students and their professor, Stella Xu, partook in during their trip to China this past May, plenty of their fellow students, teachers, and even the sister city embassy came out to see what they were up to in the Far East. One of them, Kyle Broderick, was even able to bring a samurai sword he bought at the silk market back to the States.

They visited Beijing, Zhengzhou, Zi'an, Shanghai, and Hangzhou.
