Genocide, the ugliest child of the 20th Century, continues to wreak unthinkable tolls in Darfur, Ethiopia, the Sudan, Eastern Burma, the Congo and elsewhere. Hundreds of thousands of fellow human beings, possessing the same intrinsic dignity as we in the first world, daily face violence, rape, slavery, life as refugees.
