Harry Edward (Buddy) Clark, 83, of Forest, Va., formerly of Clifton Forge, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at HCR Manor Care in Lynchburg, Va.

He was born February 25, 1928 in Fayette County, West Virginia, a son of the late Harry Clark and Roxie Peters Clark McGlothen. He was a member of the Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder, and attended the Lakewood Baptist Church in Evington, Va., he was a member of the Son Shine Class and the Sun Rays Club of the church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II , having been stationed on the Admiral's Fleet. He was a retired employee of the C&O Railroad with over 40 years of service, he retired in 1986 as a General Car Foreman. Harry belonged to several organizations: Clifton Forge Masonic Lodge #166 A.F. & A.M., Kazim Shrine Temple in Roanoke, held many positions in the Clifton Forge Shrine Club, a member of the Hot Springs Shrine Club, and the Roanoke Shrine Club. He was also a member of the Clifton Forge Elks Lodge #1065, Past President of the Clifton Forge Lion's Club and the NARVE.
