Summary


The Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation applauded six area preservation projects and scorned the tearing down of one historic building at its annual meeting Tuesday.

The foundation praised projects including the Big Lick Junction building, which rehabbed an old warehouse to make room for classrooms for Community High School, and the Roanoke City Market Building renovation.
