Summary


A closed mind in a child is frightening

When I was in college many moons ago, my work-study boss had a bumper sticker on her car that read: "Minds are like parachutes, they only work when they are open." Decades later, that still rings in my head, and I believe it is more appropriate today than at any other point in my lifetime.
