LYNCHBURG -- Cody Jones won two events to power Staunton River to the boys title, while Lexie Janney captured two wins as Lord Botetourt won the girls crown Saturday in the Blue Ridge District indoor track meet at Liberty University.

Jones took the 55 meters (6.75 seconds) and the long jump (20-0) as Staunton River outscored runner-up William Byrd 179-147.

Janney won the 300 (46.09) and 500 (1:24.97) as Botetourt won the girls meet 157-104 over Northside.

William Byrd's Kevin O'Connor swept the 1,000 (4:36.62) and 1,600 (4:36.62).

Lily Garrecht took the long jump (15-3 [sup]1/[sub]2) and triple jump (31-0) for Staunton River's girls.
