Four Glenvar High seniors and a sophomore are including their classmates, parents, neighbors and other folks in their community in their journey to make the earth a little greener. They're also in competition for some scholarship funds along the way.

Amy Brown, Delali Agblevor, Jonathan Marino, Sarah Morris, and Stephanie Walsh under the direction of teacher Robin Smith have entered the Lexus Eco Challenge on Air and Climate. The challenge requires a team to develop a community action plan to benefit their local community by way of creating awareness of certain environmental issues.
