A Norfolk Southern Corp. contractor knocked down a couple of buildings at the site of its planned intermodal rail yard last week without a demolition permit, Montgomery County spokeswoman Ruth Richey said.
After county officials posted a notice at the site in Elliston, D.H. Griffin Cos. made contact and agreed to get a permit today, Richey said. The company won't be fined, she said.See the full content of this document
