Aida Berger and her aunt Ann Shoemaker lugged a half-dozen buckets of slicing and Roma tomatoes into the Glade Hill Community Cannery last week.

It would have taken Berger three to four days to clean, mash, cook and can those tomatoes at home. She finished the work in four hours at the cannery.
