A well-traveled low-water bridge over the Roanoke River linking Smith Park with points east in Roanoke will be closed for a culvert replacement for six weeks, the city engineer's office said Friday.
On Feb. 14, the city will close the low-water bridge that carries Wiley Drive and the Roanoke River Greenway over the river just west of the U.S. 220 and Franklin Road bridges.
