BTEC horticulture students make corsages

BTEC Horticulture students have offered an alternative for the homecoming corsage or boutonniere. Classes over the years have made everything from a corsage to wedding flowers, noted Hendrickson at the recent BTEC open house. "We like for the students to get practice and it saves parents and students money as well." The Horticulture syllabus states, "Horticulture prepares students to grow greenhouse plants, to design floral and plant arrangements, and to design and maintain interior and exterior landscapes."
