The Roanoke County Board of Supervisors decided Tuesday to ask the General Assembly to ban caffeine-enhanced alcoholic beverages in the state.

The board maintained the activist posture it first took a few weeks ago on incense laced with synthetic marijuana, being the first public body in the region to ask the state to ban that substance.
