A proposed Chick-fil-A restaurant in Salem is back on track after the city's board of zoning appeals struck down a rival chicken peddler's appeal of the Chick-fil-A's plans Tuesday.
Bojangles' Famous Chicken and Biscuits franchise owner Stan Seymour's claim that the Chick-fil-A plans violated numerous elements of the zoning ordinance was without merit, and Seymour and his ROBO LLC lacked standing to file and appeal in the first place, the board ruled in two unanimous decisions.See the full content of this document
